Tralee Golf Club
Founded in 1894 Tralee's Arnold Palmer designed links was officially opened in 1984 after a relocation from another site. The beach located at the back of the 1st and 2nd holes was the location for the beach scenes in the Hollywood epic Ryan's daughter which won an Oscar for Best Cinematography. The course at Tralee has endless beauty. In 2017 Tralee Golf Club was voted the 6th best course in Ireland by Golf Digest and Tralee has consistently placed in the top 10 of that list. The par 4 8th and the par 3 16th were voted into the top 100 golf holes in Ireland by Irish Golfer magazine. Kevin Markham of Irish Golfer magazine said of the 16th "A magical par 3 where it's green or disaster. The green plays over deep, coarse rough to a green perched on a ledge below. It looks perfect and the surroundings are beautiful... as they are everywhere on this Palmer/Seay-designed links. Tralee has many remarkable holes with many of the back 9 utterly breathtaking."

The Course at the Tralee Golf Club in Ireland is the most beautiful golf course I've ever played... the sea and the light and the sky and the hills and the fields... it's just the prettiest one.
