Lough Erne Resort
Built behind the pre-existing Castle Hume Golf Club the new Faldo designed championship golf course and Hotel was opened in October 2007. The Faldo designed course was built along the edges of Lough Erne, the second-biggest lake system in Northern Ireland and the fourth biggest in Ireland. Lough Erne makes for a stunning backdrop and the course design relies heavily on it with the Lough in play on almost half of the holes. Combined with the Castle Hume course the Lough Erne Resort provides a great opportunity to see what parkland golf in Ireland has to offer. With 36 holes of championship golf and the Faldo Academy on-site the resort is set up for a group golfing excursion.
