North West Ireland arguably offers the best value for money links golf in the country. With Carne Golf Club in Co. Mayo, County Sligo Golf Club in Co. Sligo, Ballyliffin Golf Club in Co. Donegal and plenty more to choose from, there is a plethora of courses to be discovered. With some of the best-golfing landscape in the country, it is easy to see why North West Ireland is popular among golfing and non-golfing tourists alike.

The 2018 Irish Open took place in Ballyliffin Golf Club and the area was abuzz with activity that week and beyond. Ballyliffin has two championship links courses, the Old Course and the Pat Ruddy designed Glashedy course (Irish Open venue). The golf course is located on the Inishowen Peninsula and it is truly is a special place on earth. As regular visitors to North West Ireland, we always ensure to take in a round of golf at a few of the courses.
