Rosapenna Golf Club

Another course that is home to two fine championship courses, Old Tom Morris, and Sandy Hills. The Old Tom Morris course was founded in 1893 and was designed funnily enough by Old Tom Morris. The Sandy Hills course was added in 2003 and was designed by renowned golf course designer Pat Ruddy. The Old Tom Morris course is as you might expect has an old-school links feel with some fantastic holes and views. The opening hole gives you an idea of what you're in store for, tight narrow fairways and tricky greens. There is a great mixture of holes and a good spread of great holes between the front and back 9. Sandy Hills as you might expect takes place on top of and in between the dunes of Rosapenna. A visually spectacular course with some great views of the Sheephaven Bay it gives you a real feel for the special place that is Rosapenna. But don't let the views fool you, this course is a beast and will swallow you up if you're not careful.

If you would like to discuss the possibility of playing either course at Rosapenna please click here to contact us.

A stunning modern links that funnels its way through centuries-old dunes created by and still whipped by the winds coming in off the Atlantic Ocean. A must play links course for serious golf enthusiasts. Perhaps the best praise that can be given Sandy Hills is that there is not one weak hole on the course. In fact I would venture to say that there is not even one average hole on the course. With the Atlantic winds blowing, Sandy Hills simply offers a test of golf at its purest and toughest.
