Ballyliffin Golf Club

Home to the 2018 Irish Open Ballyliffin Golf Club in Co. Donegal sits perched on the picturesque Inishowen Peninsula. This is God-given links land and the people of Ballyliffin seen fit to put not one but two stunning golf courses. The original Old Course is a fine a links as you'll see. The 1st and 10th tee boxes sit just behind the clubhouse and are clearly visible from the balcony of the bar overhead which makes for some fun viewing. The Glashedy course hosted the Irish Open in 2018. It is rare that you find two 18-hole championship courses as good as these side by side. I'm not sure I've ever encountered two courses that intersect quite as closely or as well as the Old and Glashedy courses do.

The most natural golf links I have ever played.

When I first came here and drove up the driveway I said this place looks fantastic. I love links courses and links golf and I am really glad we played on a links course this week. Ballyliffin is right up there with the best of them.
